 Male suicide prevention: community forum

Suicide kills six men a day in Australia and one man a minute worldwide. Although suicide is complex and challenging, as a community we can take measures to prevent them.

With this in mind, the Launceston Suicide Prevention Trial is running free community forums for people who are interested in taking action to prevent male suicide.

The forums will cover four key areas:

  • how can we think differently about male suicide?
  • what works for men at risk of suicide?
  • which groups of men are at risk?
  • what action can we take to prevent male suicide in our community?

Places are limited, so if you are interested in taking part then reserve your place today.  Book online
