ACRRM | Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST) course in Hobart, 6-7 October 2018

Created by rural doctors, for rural doctors, ACRRM’s Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST) course provides you with the necessary skills and confidence required when dealing with emergency situations. With a hands-on approach to learning, REST does not just cover basic life support, but more advanced skills and techniques to assist with managing life-threatening injuries and multi-trauma events.

You will gain the confidence and required skill set to deal with emergency situations with a sense of calm and clarity. This assists in ensuring important details are not missed when circumstances become chaotic in real life situations.

REST provides you with:
  • comprehensive knowledge and skills
  • confidence and competence to practice in a rural and remote setting
  • 10 ALS points and 30 PRPD points towards your ACRRM Professional Development Program.

Find out if you are eligible for a grant to help fund your attendance.

Please note: It is mandatory that participants be present for the entire duration of the REST course on both days (8am to 5pm local time). Therefore it is highly recommended for interstate travelers to arrive at the course location at least one day prior to the commencement of the course.
