The Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) is a listing of all Medicare services subsided by the Australian Government.

A searchable version of the schedule is available via MBS Online, along with news, fact sheets and other downloadable resources.

To claim payments under the MBS a health professional must meet certain requirements.

Beyond regular consultation items, there are a number of MBS item numbers specific to general practice.
