Injury and illness don’t follow a nine-to-five schedule, so finding the right medical service at the right time is critical.

Primary Health Tasmania works with health professionals and the community to ensure after-hours services in Tasmania are well-planned, coordinated and appropriate to community needs.

Primary Health Tasmania has commissioned organisations to deliver after-hours support for vulnerable people.

What is the after-hours period?

The after-hours period is:

  • before 8am and after 6pm weekdays
  • before 8am and after 12 noon Saturdays
  • all day Sundays and public holidays.
