For the community

Primary Health Tasmania is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation working to connect care and keep Tasmanians well and out of hospital.

Primary Health Tasmania is engaging with local communities to seek out the needs of Tasmanians and to identify solutions to those needs. For more information about this, go to our Getting involved page.

The Australian Government also funds Primary Health Tasmania to manage a range of programs and services in areas including Aboriginal health, after hours care, aged care, coordinating and streamlining care, chronic conditions, eHealth, mental health, immunisation, refugee health, rural health and the social determinants of health.
