Wellbeing and resilience grants *NOW CLOSED*

Posted on March 26, 2024

The Mental Health Council of Tasmania, in partnership with Primary Health Tasmania, has opened a supplementary round of grants to support community wellbeing and resilience across the north and north west of Tasmania.

The Australian Department of Health and Aged Care has made funding available to support disaster-affected communities in these regions.

Local community not-for-profit organisations working in identified disaster-affected communities may be able to apply for grants of up to $2000.

Grants may be used for training and upskilling community in the areas of mental wellbeing and resilience, activities or events that seek to promote resilience, build social connections, facilitate reconnection with local social support networks, and promote positive wellbeing messages.

Find out more, including eligibility and selection criteria, here: mhct.org/wellbeing-resilience-grants. Applications close 5pm on Friday 12 April 2024.
