Primary Health Tasmania is partnering with Black Dog Institute to deliver a workshop focussed on building confidence in taking a detailed suicide history and developing a collaborative management plan to increase the safety of people planning suicide.
This program combines online interactive sessions, case discussion and self-directed learning modules. There are limited spots, so get in quick!
Learning Outcomes
- Undertake a suicide risk assessment effectively
- Develop a collaborative safety plan
- Implement a team approach to treatment planning
- Provide effective management following a suicide attempt
Accreditation includes: RACGP and ACRRM 5.5 hrs Education Activity & 1 hr Reviewing
Performance, Mental Health CPD (GPMHSC), 6.5 CPD hours for psychologists.

Dr Sarah Barker directs Enrich Health and Psychology and is a bilingual Senior Clinical Psychologist, Training Facilitator, and Counselling Service Manager. She brings over 20 years of experience across public health, NGOs, and the private sector, enriching wellbeing in people and organisations with diverse needs through evidence-based psychological science.
Sarah is passionate about partnering with individuals and organisations to set meaningful goals, build resilience, develop healthy thinking habits, and strengthen workplace wellbeing. She has lectured at both Australian and international universities and is committed to making the latest evidence-based findings on mental health issues accessible, relatable, and impactful.
