CERVICAL SCREENING FOLLOW-UP

Prof Marion Saville AM, Executive Director, Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer will explore recommendations for cervical screening follow-up, including best practice preparation for liquid-based cytology and colposcopy.

BOWEL CANCER SCREENING FOLLOW-UP

Kerry Crooks, Operations Manager Population Health, Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer, will discuss the Participant Follow-up Function for bowel cancer screening and the important considerations for primary care.

A WHOLE OF PRACTICE APPROACH TO SCREENING FOLLOW-UP

Kirsty Doyle, Lee-anne Potter and Emma Johns, Practice Management Team, Springs Medical, will share their insights on establishing a whole-of-practice approach to cancer screening follow-up.

  • Describe appropriate follow-up pathways for patients with abnormal cervical screening results
  • Discuss best practice preparation for cervical screening follow-up procedures including LBC and colposcopy
  • Describe the purpose of the participant follow-up function for bowel screening
