Primary Health Tasmania is pleased to present an interactive session with Dr Walid Jamal and Dr Kistern Meisinger for general practices to explore the upcoming Strengthening Medicare reforms.
This event will provide GPs, nurses and practice managers an opportunity to learn and discuss the initiatives being introduced to General Practice under the Strengthening Medicare reforms. This will include information on My Medicare, what this means for general practice and how practices can prepare for its introduction.
The session will feature:
- Dr Walid Jamal, Principal GP of Hills General Practice and co-chair of the Primary Health Care Reform Steering Group, and
- Dr Kirsten Meisinger MD, the former Medical Staff President for the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a current Regional Medical Director in Primary Care and the CHA Director of Provider Engagement
- Simon Thiessen, CEO, Facilitator and Learning authenticator of The Real Learning Experience
