Novice nurses working in general practice or those nurses wishing to refresh their knowledge and skills - southern Tasmania

Aim

The role, responsibilities, common clinical demands and expectations of working as a nurse in general practice.

  4. Immunisation
  5. Scope of practice
  6. Clinical skills
  7. Chronic disease
  8. Triage

Course design

The 3 main components of the course are:

  1. Pre-workshop study
  2. 2-day workshop, which will be held at Rydges Hobart 393 Argyle St, North Hobart TAS
  3. Workplace support

CPD hours: completion of the course will attract 21 CPD hours
