Supporting better care for people with intellectual disability – GP and nurse session

This is a case-based interactive learning event for primary health professionals facilitated by a panel including a GP, subject matter expert and consumer representatives. The training will provide practical information and resources for GPs and primary care professionals to deliver care for with people with intellectual disability.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

- Understand the types of health conditions related to people with intellectual disability
- Identify relevant clinical resources to promote better awareness, and assessment, of these health conditions
- Identify whole-of-practice reasonable adjustments that help to overcome barriers to health care for people with intellectual disability
