The Aboriginal Health Resources Kit includes three resources which are primarily aimed at mainstream general practice, however they can also be very useful information for other mainstream healthcare providers in understanding what can be provided to their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients.
1. Integrated Team Care program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people: A fact sheet that explains what the program is, who the program is for and how to make a referral.
2. MBS claiming pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people: A flowchart of what to ask and what can be offered to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients.
3. Healthcare options for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people: A guide to options of services to offer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients based on their needs.
