Primary Health Tasmania produces two publications on a regular basis: a twice-yearly magazine showcasing local innovation in health care, and an e-newsletter for general practices.

Primary Health Matters

Primary Health Matters – Tasmania’s primary health magazine – comes out twice a year.

Its feature-length articles showcase innovation in primary, aged and social care across the state.

It’s a blend of news about what we’re up to, as well as profiles of other people, teams and organisations doing good work to keep Tasmanians happy and healthy.

Our latest issue includes stories about:

  • work by our commissioned providers in alcohol and other drug support, mental health and wellbeing, aged care, provider support, and more
  • Tasmanian activity as part of the National Suicide Prevention Trial
  • other great initiatives such as the COACH Program from Asthma Australia, the Tasmanian Communications Charter, and SANE Australia’s Hocking Community Award.
