Formal agreement with University of Tasmania

Posted on August 28, 2025

Primary Health Tasmania and the University of Tasmania do a lot of work together – but we recently took this collaboration to a new level with a formal agreement aimed at progressing our shared goal of better health for all Tasmanians.

Spanning the next three years, the Partnering for Primary Care Capacity and Advancement Memorandum of Understanding focuses on exploring and progressing opportunities for:

  • upskilling University and Primary Health Tasmania staff in a range of areas including data, research, health economics and healthcare redesign
  • placements at Primary Health Tasmania for post-graduate students
  • collaborating on a range of health system reform activities.
