Tender open: Mental health service
Posted on February 25, 2026
Primary Health Tasmania has opened a tender seeking experienced providers to deliver the Connected Care – Mental Health service across the northern, north-western and southern regions of Tasmania.
This new service will provide coordinated, evidence-based mental health support aligned to the following levels of care:
- low intensity
- moderate intensity
- high intensity.
Primary Health Tasmania will commission one organisation per region. An organisation may choose to use shared delivery arrangements with other providers.
Existing commissioned services across these levels of care will transition to the new service in a way that will ensure continuity of care.
The tender will close at 2pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Thursday 16 April.
An online briefing session for prospective applicants was held on Thursday 12 March. A recording of the session is available on this web page.
All aspects of our tender processes are managed via our eTender portal. Organisations can register on the portal for free – instructions are available on our website here.
All tender documentation is available through the portal, and all questions about the process will be managed through the portal.
