Primary Health Tasmania, along with Consultant Pharmacy Services, have recently updated a series of deprescribing guidelines for commonly used medicines. The aim of the guidelines is to reduce the potential for inappropriate use of medication, minimise polypharmacy and improve overall patient outcomes. You can access the guidelines here.
GPs and allied health professionals are invited to attend a series of webinars in which a panel of healthcare professionals will speak to a case study and their approach to deprescribing in their field of discipline.
